About project

Chornobyl VR is a unique product of the Chornobyl National Museum, which opens the opportunity to watch safely and exciting one of the most famous objects of Ukrainian history. You can "stroll" the Prypiat, see a sarcophagus and even look inside the reactor - a total of 11 locations are covered.

The tour was created on the basis of photo-panores of the famous photographer Mykola Omelchenko and is the result of close cooperation between museums and digital enthusiasts. At a time when the area remains physically inaccessible due to displacement, this journey allows you to keep the memory of tragedy and pass it on new generations through modern technologies
